Job Responsibilities
The HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE management, experience in setting up HSE systems for new factories and warehouses, and a proactive approach to building a culture of HSE within the organization.
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, regional, and global regulations.
- Set up HSE systems for new factories and warehouses, ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met from the outset.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and manage the HSE team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective implementation of HSE programs.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, including incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business operations and projects.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance employee awareness and compliance with HSE standards.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills and exercises.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.
- Prepare and present HSE reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Build a strong HSE culture within the factory, engaging employees at all levels to prioritize health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven experience in setting up HSE systems for new factories and warehouses.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective HSE programs.
- Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using HSE management systems and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
