What You Will Be Accountable For
Business
- Lead end-to-end project management of New Products Introduction (NPI) and efficiency cost-saving projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial and Operations stakeholders to align plans, priorities and resolve issues.
- Quick to accurately input and analyze risks, and able to present viable scenarios to decision-making forums.
- Adopt and apply standard methodologies, processes, and systems.
- Maintain effective working relationships with the wider APMEA region NPI community to allow for continuous improvement and coordinated ways of working.
- Prepare the required documentation and reports in a timely and consistent manner.
- Providing the visibility of potential problems earlier in the project lifecycle, and the ability to take the appropriate recommendations/ corrective action to the appropriated forums.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to develop aligned plans & priorities, resolve project issues and secure vital support to assure project delivery with the right level of insight to facilitate informed decision making.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project objectives. Where required, negotiate with functional managers for the acquisition of required team members from within BAT.
- Establish, lead, and empower cross functional teams to successfully deliver projects and drive and support collaboration within and across teams, functions and end-markets.
- Champion the BAT NPI Process and associated system across functions, driving best-practice, ensuring full audit compliance (Decision Rights, Protocols, and the HIVE system usage).
- Establish effective working relationships with the NPI Community, Global Brand delivery team, Regional and End-Market Brand Marketing and Functional Experts
- Drive constant improvement in the performance of the NPI process via engagement of Regional Operations functions, Global and Regional Brand Delivery teams, Functional Experts and Regional Marketing
- Ensure lessons learned from programs are identified, shared with relevant stakeholders, improvement plans developed with clear ownership and implemented.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or any related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in FMCG multi-national company, working in similar scope
- English, Vietnamese Proficient
- Possesses an ability to influence effectively without formal authority.
- Good organizational skills with inherent discipline in keeping documentation on projects up-to-date and in order.
- Can link and understand interdependency of tasks.
- Ability to lead concurrent projects that vary in complexity, ambiguity, and priority.
- Independent and takes ownership of tasks whilst displaying an abilities for troubleshooting.
- Delivery of results under extremely tight and stressful timelines
- Strong attention to detail, approaching tasks with a proactive and goal-oriented approach.
- Agile in a constantly evolving business environment.
