What You Will Do

Although each day is usually different and presents its own challenges, there are common themes that you will face every day.

Monitoring and overseeing your team’s projects. Ensuring that the projects are moving as expected, the backlogs are properly managed, and the development plans are sensible.
Discovering new projects, understanding the pain points and users’ expectations, and defining how to approach the problems or innovations through user experience.
Writing user stories, managing and grooming backlogs, and planning development sprints.
Ensuring the quality of the products and features developed.
Reviewing UX/UI designs.
Supporting Engineering with implementation.
Interacting with external stakeholders, listening to and understanding their feedback while defending your product decisions.
Reviewing your team’s work, both internal (assets produced for Nimble) and external (assets produced for clients).
Supporting the sales team in assessing potential product development projects, risks, and challenges.
Mentoring your team members, providing support when necessary, and figuring out how to help each and every one of them grow as Product Managers.
Reporting and providing insights to the Chief Product Officer.
Participating in the definition of the Product team’s direction.
Supporting the recruitment efforts and participating in the hiring process.
Identifying and leading new initiatives.

Job Requirements

7+ years of professional experience as a Product Manager.
2+ years of experience managing other Product Managers.
Some software programming experience.
Based in Ho Chi Minh City or Da Nang.

Product Design & Development

You have a great attention to detail.
You are opinionated. You also keep an open mind.
You know UX patterns for mobile and web applications and the design language for iOS and Android (including native components).
You know how to adapt the level of complexity of a design to the scope and context of a project. You can anticipate technical challenges when reviewing designs.
You are familiar with usage and behavioral product data. You know how to obtain it (e.g., defining the right tracking), how to understand it, and how to leverage it.
You have the ability to quickly learn and understand new industries. You have an interest in discovering new domains often.
You know how to prioritize feature development in a given context to maximize the development team’s output.
You know how to efficiently kick off a new product development (greenfield).
You know how to efficiently take over the development of an existing product (brownfield).
You have the knowledge and experience to conceptualize entire products quickly and assess their implementation complexity. You can anticipate associated risks and mitigate them.
You have the product and business insights to identify and bring up new opportunities.

People Management

You have experience leading and mentoring other Product Managers.
You know how to identify your team members’ strengths, how to leverage those strengths, and how to develop them further.
You know how to strengthen your team members’ weaknesses through mentoring and defining their growth objectives.
You have the ability to set a direction and objectives for your team in order to reach the company’s higher goals.
You have high expectations from others, and you know how to push and motivate them to deliver their best work.

Communication

You speak English to a Business Fluency level.
You have great listening and cross-functional collaboration skills.
You are an expert at listening and communicating with stakeholders, including in difficult situations. You are comfortable handling difficult conversations, and you know how to diffuse them.
You have great written communication skills. You know how to write clear content and how to structure it clearly.
You excel at gathering requirements from clients even when the clients don’t fully know what they need just yet.
You are used to working closely with Engineers to see through the correct development of a digital product.

Technical Knowledge

You can use version control systems, especially git. You are familiar with Gitflow.
You are familiar with CI/CD for web and mobile (all the way through publishing applications on store).
You understand how APIs work, and you know how to use API management, documentation, and debugging tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Proxyman).
You know how to architect data. You can create database schemas.
You are familiar with the differences and specificities of web vs. iOS vs. Android, and you are familiar with cross-platform applications (e.g., Flutter).

Organization

You have excellent time management and work organization skills.
You can ensure that any and all product work produced by the team (e.g., backlogs, documentation, presentations) meets the level of quality that is expected of the team.
You can foster a learning environment amongst all the product management team members.
You have the experience to identify areas of improvement for the team, and you have the ownership to lead the documentation and implementation of those improvements.
You understand the need for processes to repeat successes. You ensure that the right processes are followed, and you also know when flexibility is required.
You know how to fully leverage your core Product Stack. You work smart. You understand the importance of the single source of truth idea and fight against duplicated content.

Bonus

You have developed some web or mobile applications either on the job or as a side project (git repos links are welcome).
You have some infrastructure knowledge (e.g., AWS, GCP).

Công ty CP đầu tư phát triển máy Việt Nam (tên viết tắt VIMID) thành lập ngày 5/3/2010 với trụ sở đầu tiên đặt tại Hà Nội.

Trải qua hơn 10 năm hình thành và phát triển, VIMID luôn không ngừng nỗ lực đi lên, ngày đêm kiến tạo giá trị bền vững, trở thành doanh nghiệp dẫn đầu ngành kinh doanh xe vận tải hạng trung hạng nặng cùng với sự kiên trì theo đuổi mục tiêu: “Cung cấp giải pháp vận tải toàn diện cho các cá nhân, tổ chức và đơn vị vận tải hàng hóa Việt Nam”.

Năm 2010, Thành lập Công ty CP Đầu tư phát triển Máy Việt Nam (VIMID). Trụ sở đặt tại: P105, TT222D, Đội Cấn, P.Liễu Giai, Q.Ba Đình, TP Hà Nội. Với mức vốn điều lệ 10 tỷ đồng.
Năm 2013, VIMID khẳng định vị thế và tiến hành mở rộng thị trường vào miền Nam với chi nhánh đầu tiên tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh
Năm 2014, VIMID tiếp tục khẳng định thương hiệu mạnh mẽ trên thị trường khi tốc độ tăng trưởng đạt trên 180%. Khai trương và chinh phục thị trường mới – CN Hải Phòng.
Năm 2015, đánh dấu sự phát triển thần tốc của VIMID với tốc độ tăng trưởng đạt 200%. VIMID tiếp tục mở rộng hệ thống chuỗi trạm chi nhánh trong miền Nam - CN Bình Định được hình thành và phát triển mạnh mẽ.
Năm 2016, VIMID bùng nổ trên thị trường với tốc độ phát triển đáng kinh ngạc, cùng đó là sự kiện mở rộng khai trương CN Tây Hà Nội
Năm 2017, Đánh dấu bước phát triển mạnh mẽ như vũ bão của VIMID. VIMID liên tục mở rộng thị trường tại miền Bắc và tiếp tục tiến quân chinh phục thị trường miền Trung với sự ra đời của hàng loạt các chi nhánh mới: - CN Hà Nam, CN Nghệ An, CN Đà Nẵng
Năm 2019, VIMID xác lập chinh phục thị trường Cẩm Phả với sự kiện khai trương CN Quảng Ninh
Năm 2020, Khẳng định vị thế thuộc TOP dẫn đầu tại thị trường Việt Nam, VIMID tiếp tục mở rộng xây dựng và phát triển mạnh mẽ hệ thống chuỗi trạm trải dài trên toàn quốc với sự ra đời của hàng loạt các chi nhánh mới:- CN Phú Thọ, CN Thanh Hóa, CN Đắk Lắk
Năm 2021, VIMID liên tục nối dài cánh tay vươn rộng trên thị trường Việt Nam, thực hiện mục tiêu cứ 150Km xây dựng 1 trạm dịch vụ. Đánh dấu sự ra đời của nhiều chi nhánh mới phân bố rộng khắp cả nước:- CN Khánh Hòa, CN Tây Đô, CN Sơn La, CN Thái Nguyên
Năm 2022, VIMID tiếp tục hoàn thiện mục tiêu xây dựng hệ thống chuỗi trạm tiêu chuẩn 3S trên cả nước với sự kiện ra đời và phát triển các CN mới: CN Quảng Bình; CN Quảng Ngãi
