Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC in Corbin, Kentucky, in 1938. He started with one restaurant, 11 herbs and spices, and an idea. From there, our incredible brand and product grew to what it is today. KFC is one of the five brands operated by our parent company, Yum! Along with Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill and recently added Heartstyles.

KFC first came to Vietnam in 1997 with our first restaurant in Super Bowl, Ho Chi Minh City. Today, we are the biggest business in the fast-food industry in Vietnam, with more than 200 restaurants run and 5,000 restaurant team members. The Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) is located at the Bluesky office, Tan Binh District – near Tan Son Nhat Airport.

POSITION SUMMARY

Role Title: Strategic Growth Manager

Department: Marketing

Section: Strategic Growth Report to: Marketing Director. Role Purpose:

The Strategic Growth Manager role will drive sustainable business growth through strategic planning, menu innovation, customer loyalty programs, and new marketing initiatives. This role requires a data- driven and customer-centric approach to identify opportunities, enhance brand performance, and drive long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Planning & Strategy Development:

o  Develop and implement strategic growth plans aligned with KFC Vietnam’s business objectives.

o  Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify trends and opportunities.

o  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Digital Comerce) to ensure seamless execution of growth strategies.

o  Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

·      Menu Strategy & Innovation:

o  Lead menu strategy planning to optimize product offers and enhance customer satisfaction.

o  Work closely with the R&D and Operations teams to develop new products and limited- time offers (LTOs).

o  Analyze product performance, pricing, and consumer preferences to drive menu optimization.

o  Ensure new product development aligns with brand positioning, operational feasibility, and profitability goals.

·      Customer Loyalty & Engagement:

o  Strengthen and enhance KFC Vietnam’s loyalty program to drive customer retention and frequency.

o  Develop personalized offers, promotions, and engagement strategies based on customer data and insights.

o  Collaborate with digital and CRM teams to optimize loyalty initiatives through data-driven personalization.

o  Track and analyze the effectiveness of loyalty campaigns and implement improvements.

·      New Marketing Initiatives & Innovation

o  Identify and execute innovative marketing initiatives to strengthen brand positioning and revenue growth.

o   Lead pilot programs and test new marketing concepts before scaling them nationally.

o  Explore strategic partnerships, collaborations, and emerging digital channels to expand market reach.

o  Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate new technologies into marketing execution.

·      Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, SCM, RnD,..) to ensure a smooth launch.

Professional Skills:

·      Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

·      Must have 5 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand management, or business growth (preferably in QSR, FMCG, or retail industries).

·      Must have experience in developing and implementing effective growth strategies.

·      Have a good understanding of the fast-food market, target customers, and competitors to formulate effective growth strategies.

·      Excellent data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, BI Dashboard).

Key Experiences:

·      Proven track record of working under pressure/to tight deadlines.

·      Experience in working with relevant stakeholders.

·      Excellent presentation & communication skills

·      Budget Management, P&L Management

·      Fluent in English.
