THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a leading platform offering wholesale investors access to institutional-grade alternative assets for portfolio diversification and wealth creation. With a minimum investment of A$10,000, investors can tailor their portfolios to their financial goals and risk preferences.

As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for optimizing investment processes, gaining proficiency in systems such as Salesforce CRM, and working within a professional, English-speaking, and cross-cultural environment. This role provides valuable exposure to alternative asset investments and operational tasks within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in all Operations tasks related to Investment Subscription and Redemption Process.
• Maintain regular Pricing calculation and update across platforms for Deal Pricings.
• Assist in documents preparation for all Subscription and Redemption
• Assist in Issuing Unit for the deals based on Subscription Contract Note
• Take part in managing client’s onboarding and any client’s information update on platform.
• Responsible for all Distribution calculation, including Income/Dividend/Capital Return and payment to beneficiaries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, Trust Register and regular Funds holdings.
• Maintain Master Workbooks and Capital event history for all deals.
• Cooperate with Tech Team in the required testing scenarios.
• Cooperate with Fund Manager and Institution client’s Operations team regarding any queries.
  
  
  

Skills, Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Excellent English proficiency.
• 3+ year experience in Accounting or Finance Operations at International Firms (finance, investment, banking industry, etc.)
• Have experience in Funds Operations including Registry, Pricing, Subscription & Redemption process, Secondary trade, etc.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot table, Vlookup, Index, etc.)
• Demonstrate attention to detail, effective time management, and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a largely unstructured but goal-oriented environment.
• Be tech savvy and comfortable with online business tools. Our platform is custom developed, so you will need to learn from scratch.
• Show resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity demonstrated by not being satisfied with ‘not knowing’ how it works or what it means; be a self-directed and continuous learner.
