Our client is a Singapore based crypto currency exchange that providing fiat to crypto and crypto to crypto exchange. They aim to be the first exchange to let you trade Blockchain ideas, knowledge and values.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead our SRE team. In this role, you will be responsible for the availability, performance, and scalability of our critical crypto exchange infrastructure. You will play a key role in defining and implementing our SRE best practices, mentoring other engineers, and driving continuous improvement across our engineering organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Mentor:
• Lead a team of SRE engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• System Reliability & Availability:
• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems.
• Implement and manage robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance scaling of our systems.
• Investigate and resolve production issues promptly and effectively.
• Automation & Efficiency:
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management.
• Develop and maintain tools and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Security & Compliance:
• Ensure the security and compliance of our systems with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct security audits and penetration testing.
• Implement and maintain security controls to protect our systems from threats.
• Innovation & Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve our SRE practices and technologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, DevOps, and SRE.
• Drive innovation and automation within the engineering organization.

3. REQUIREMENT

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience as an SRE or in a similar role.
• Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring SRE teams.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Security & Compliance:
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cryptocurrency or blockchain technology.
• Experience with high-traffic, low-latency systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
