Mô Tả Công Việc

Grant Thornton (Vietnam) Limited is an independent member firm of Grant Thornton International. We are a leading professional services organization in Vietnam providing Audit, Tax, Advisory and Business Process Solutions services. We have a professional team of 13 partners and more than 350 professional staffs in offices located in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
In order to meet the demand of our growing practices, we are looking for a qualified candidate to support our Business Process Solutions Services of Ho Chi Minh City office. Detailed tasks of and required qualifications for this position are as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
• Provide advice to business users on payment and tax matters as needed.
• Ensure that financial information adheres to Company policies and local regulations.
• Gather supporting documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Enter financial data, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and intercompany transactions, into the ledger monthly.
• Reconcile monthly actual expenses with project planning costs.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts.
• Perform month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare accurate accounting reports in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Convert to VAS accounts and prepare financial statements under local regulations.
• Support internal audits and collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Review monthly VAT declarations.
• Perform monthly WHT declarations and other taxes (if any), reconciling returns with ledgers.
• Review annual/quarterly CIT calculations.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Qualifications and preferred skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in GL accounting or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Experience in accounting and business management software, such as SAP/Oracle JDE/D365.
• Strong ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• ACCA or CPA certification is preferred.
