1. Maintains regulatory compliance with governmental regulations related to the environment, health, and safety.
2. Conforms to the standards set by applicable regulations.
3. Conforms to Wanek standards and policy.
4. Responsible for controlling emission by identifying and assess gaps of the system, consult BOD solution to close the gaps of waste water treatment system, air treatment devices, solid waste generation.
5. Responsible for monitoring environmental quality periodically and report
6. As part of the safety culture scheme, works closely with Stakeholders from Operations, relevant departments to appropriately provide safety operation training, safety tour, and safety talk to varieties levels to raise up safety awareness and develop safety on-floor program as well
7. Implement effective training about EHS requirements and procedures.
8. Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences to keep abreast of emerging environmental, health and safety issues.
9. Able to work with different functions within the company to ensure that waste concerns are addressed adequately, within an acceptable time-frame.
10. As part of the EHS Department, to also support all environment, health and safety targets and initiatives, and regularly participate in EHS-related tasks as per the instruction of the management.
11. Work on shift (day or night), if required.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

1. Education

Graduated from Univeristy with Health and Safety / Environment, or related applied science or engineering field.

Preferred candidates with experience working with waste water treatment system

2. Experience

From 2 - 3 years in Waste water treatment

3. Knowledge of:

• Vietnamese governmental regulations on the environment
• Waste water treatment, air emission and treatment
• Windows-based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point)

4. Skills and Abilities

• Good English proficiency
• High level of integrity
• Sense of urgency
• Good reporting skills & presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of the furniture industry is desired
