The Account Manager’s role is to support Business Team to deliver service to our clients’ brands and businesses, and drive growth for T&A Ogilvy.
About The Role
- Client Leadership & Management: Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned T&A clients, building strong professional relationships and providing expert strategic PR counsel. You will lead client meetings, manage expectations, and ensure the timely, high-quality delivery of all agreed-upon PR activities, understanding client objectives within the travel space.
- Exceptional Media Relations & Outreach (Strong PR Focus): Proactively cultivate and maintain strong, established relationships with top-tier travel, lifestyle, luxury, business, and trade media contacts. This role demands a proven track record of successfully pitching and securing significant, high-quality earned media coverage across various platforms for diverse T&A brands.
- Strategic PR & Campaign Development: Contribute to the development and meticulous implementation of integrated PR strategies and communication plans specifically tailored for the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry. This includes identifying key market trends and opportunities to inform strategic recommendations and translating client briefs into actionable, impactful PR programs.
- Content Creation & Storytelling: Draft and expertly edit high-quality press releases, media advisories, compelling pitches, Q&As, and talking points. You will be responsible for developing captivating narratives and messaging that authentically align with client brand identities and objectives within the T&A sector.
- Project & Team Management: Effectively manage multiple PR projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and budgets are meticulously adhered to. You will provide clear direction and constructive feedback to junior team members, fostering their growth, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaign excellence.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track, analyze, and interpret media coverage and comprehensive campaign performance data against client KPIs. This involves preparing insightful client reports that offer actionable recommendations and leveraging PR measurement tools to clearly demonstrate the tangible ROI and impact of our work.
This person should be qualified:
- At least 5 years of experience, additional experience in PR/ Communications. Already at manager level
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Understanding and deep knowledge of PR & influencer marketing campaigns, as well as project management
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Team player who can work well with tight deadlines
- Possesses a high degree of English competency
