Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of regional engineers working on critical infrastructure and vendor pieces supporting the company's Observability verticals, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring alignment with team and organizational objectives.
Develop and implement Observability strategies, processes, and best practices around monitoring to improve the troubleshooting journey and reduce time-to-resolution of issues.
Champion the adoption of Observability tools to improve awareness and adoption.You have 5 or more years of experience building software products and at least 3 years as an engineering manager or a team lead
Experience with the Observability verticals (logs, metrics, and traces)
Experience with operating bespoke logging pipelines at scale, e.g. Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Clickhouse
Experience with vendor Observability products like Datadog, ServiceNow suite, etc. is a plus
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, and orchestration languages like Ansible.
Fluency in any backend programming language like C++, Java, Golang, Python. Basic command line knowledge is a must.
Experience operating in an environment with complex microservice architectures spanning numerous teams.
Positive attitude and can-do mentality
You have a strong background in software development, with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of software architecture
