We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Manager to lead our technology team in developing cutting-edge products. This individual will be responsible for overseeing software development and big data engineering efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Strategy:
   • Develop and execute the technical strategy for software development
   • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software developers.
   • Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business goals
2. Software Development:
   • Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
   • Identify and address technical debt, ensuring long-term sustainability of the codebase.
   • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technical team.
3. Technical Excellence:
   • Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
   • Identify and address technical debt, ensuring long-term sustainability of the codebase.
   • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technical team.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
   • Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
   • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our technical achievements and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP (Laravel), ReactJs, Python... or similar.
• Knowledge of data science, big data technologies, and statistical analysis
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its impact on the business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse technical team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in a startup environment, with a track record of scaling technology teams and solutions.
• Knowledge of data science, big data technologies, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated testing and deployment.
