1.   RESPONSIBILITY

-       Review import and export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Contract, C/O, etc.), verify HS Codes, prepare customs declarations for various types (business, EPE, processing), and handle C/O, Phytosanitary Certificates, etc.

-       Coordinate with relevant specialized authorities/agencies (e.g., plant and animal quarantine, chemical declarations, food safety inspection, quality inspection, etc.)

-       Proactively communicate with clients to collect all necessary shipping documents and information; stay updated on relevant regulations and governmental decrees related to customs procedures.

-       Liaise with shipping lines to receive arrival notices, and verify related charges such as demurrage and storage fees.

-       Monitor the entire shipment process, from customs declaration to delivery at the client’s warehouse or handover at the export port; ensure effective coordination with relevant internal departments.

-       Record all logistics-related costs into the system for each shipment; prepare and send Debit Notes to customers accurately and on time.

-       Resolve issues or arising problems during the customs clearance process.

2.   REQUIREMENT

-       College/University degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, International Business, Import-Export, Logistics, Customs, or other related fields.

-       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

-       Good command of English (both verbal and written).

-       3 years of experience in customs clearance and documentation is required; candidates with on-site and declaration experience across multiple customs types will be prioritized.

-       Familiar with VNACCS/VCIS software, e-C/O systems, and registration procedures for quarantine.
