A – Job summary Be responsible for Store operations include uniform, stationery, SWAG sales, inventory management, online and in-store orders, goods receipt, store decoration, collection reconciliation, reports etc. Be responsible for demand of local and overseas purchases for the Store items (uniforms, stationery, collectibles) with Purchasing team and ensuring that all aspects of purchases adhere to internal policies and procedures. Be responsible for monitoring School Store website, online orders and online payments. Be responsible to support Business Office on other tasks, i.e renting operations, as assigned by manager. Be responsible to support Student Services and Purchasing team when in needs.
B – Essential duties and responsibilities - Play a crucial role in promoting school spirit, managing financial transactions, and implementing strategies to enhance the store's profitability. - Display and organize products in School Store, re-arrange Store decoration concept based on seasons or events; keep the Store clean and tidy. - Generate billing and collect payment (cash, bank, credit card, payment link) for in-store purchases and online purchases; - Monitor and managing SSIS Store website, update store website of new items, description and product details - Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. - Response to customer’s request and complaint through direct channel or indirect channel (email, website); - Consult uniforms size chart and recommendation required uniforms for parents and students; Collaborate with vendor regarding uniform quality, customized order. - Review stock count report, inventory data of Store Officer. Internal inventory movement will be reviewed and keyed in the system by the Senior Store Officer. - Pack on-line orders into boxes, review and supervise the shipment with logistic companies. - Periodic assess and recommend to write off obsolete, slow-moving items or suggest promotion programs, if necessary. - Bar coding, inventory control and report damage, loss of inventory; - Handling annual uniform orders, monthly stationery orders and collectibles orders. - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to retail operations. - Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access. - Liaise with Student Services team to support parents’ and students’ combined requests (Bus, Tuition and Fee billing, Store etc.) - Execute assignments from time to time, report to the Business Manager; - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Reporting - Daily sales report, collection report, payment reconciliation of Store income; - Weekly reconcile online payments, bank transfer, credit card with Finance Office. Deposit cash balance to Finance Office; - Weekly report on inventory movement, sales and costs of goods sold report submission Finance Office; - Monthly sales, inventory, collection report submission to Business Office.
