THE OPPORTUNITY

College of Engineering & Computer Science is looking for Talented Research-focused Faculty in the following areas:

• Areas of interest: Privacy and Compliance, User Experience; Computational Data Science and Applications; High-performance, Energy-efficient Computing.
• Ranks: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The faculty members will be responsible for three primary responsibilities:

• Research: Supervise student research, perform original research, and publish scientific findings in top venues with high citations. Your research projects will be implemented in collaboration with Research Center of Intelligent Computing and Data Science to foster impactful outcomes.
• Teaching: Develop and instruct classes, provide academic advising, and participate in developing the programs and curriculum that meet the ABET’s quality standards.
• Service: Assist with recruitment, admission, service to the university, profession, and community.

• A start-up fund of up to US$200,000 to establish the research pipeline, supporting the recruitment of Research Fellows and Research Assistants.

LIVING AND WORKING IN HANOI, VIETNAM

• Work permit: VinUniversity will assist in and provide advice for obtaining the necessary paperwork needed for employment in Vietnam (visa, work permit, insurance, etc.). However, it is your responsibility to ensure that you can satisfy all the paper requirements in a timely manner.
