ABOUT KFC
Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC in Corbin, Kentucky, in 1938. He started with one restaurant, 11 herbs and spices, and an idea. From there, our incredible brand and product grew to what it is today. KFC is one of the five brands operated by our parent company, Yum! Along with Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill and recently added Heartstyles.
KFC first came to Vietnam in 1997 with our first restaurant in Super Bowl, Ho Chi Minh City. Today, we are the biggest business in the fast-food industry in Vietnam, with more than 200 restaurants run and 5,000 restaurant team members. The Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) is located at the Bluesky office, Tan Binh District – near Tan Son Nhat Airport.
POSITION SUMMARY
Role Title: Planning Analyst Specialist.
Department: SCM
Section: Planning
Role Purpose:
The Planning Analyst Specialist role will oversee supply chains and forecast supply and demand for KFC. This role is to perform data analysis and design a demand plan, which is a reliable forecast report used to help determine the appropriate amount of supplies for KFC business activities in the future.
Reporting directly to the SCM Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Make a warehouse plan for all the system's imported and domestic goods, wet goods, equipment, and components.
• Receive and synthesize MKT's promotional activities and coordinate with relevant departments to plan, monitor, and issue warnings about related materials for MKT's promotional activities.
• Compile inventory reports in the system, control inventory, slow-moving goods, and expired items in the warehouse.
• Manage Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) of System (Inventory value of DryGoods WH, WetGoods WH and all Stores).
• Create a request to import goods, monitor supply progress, and provide solutions for supply problems.
• Other tasks requested by the SCM Director.
Professional Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Must have at least three years of experience as a Purchasing Executive, Demand Planner, or Production Planner.
• Competent in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Be able to use ERP Software.
