About The Role

As a Senior Front End Engineer at CoverGo, you will play a vital role in advancing the development of core product features. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of new features, showcasing your proficiency in front-end frameworks. You will focus on crafting intuitive interfaces, leveraging your expertise to refine and optimize existing codebases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and maintain code quality through testing. Your role will also involve investigating and addressing bugs promptly, ensuring the reliability and security of our platform.

What You Will Do

• As a Senior Front End Engineer, you'll lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our insurance enterprise software solutions, providing technical direction to the team
• Work on challenging frontend problems in multi-tenant and cloud-agnostic architectures
• Crafting no-code editors, tools and visual rules engines
• Fully own features from ideation with design and product, to working on iterations and improvements
• Improving and refactoring our current codebases
• Evaluating new technologies for the platform
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best coding practices, while also writing and executing unit tests and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Build relationships and work closely with engineers, product, design, architects and BAs across all product teams in CoverGo
• Ensure security and compliance by following best practices for securing web applications and adhering to relevant regulations in handling sensitive customer data
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure we remain competitive and innovative
  
  
  

What We Need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in front end engineering
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proficiency in React.js is required
• Good understanding of code versioning with Git
• Very good knowledge of web security best practices and experience in ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Experience with backend technologies, particularly Java, is a big plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical team members with diverse backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and bug-fixing
• Positive, hard-working, and committed team player
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Fast learner who enjoys coding and working with the latest tech
