Job Description

  • Develop and Implement Quality Standards:
  • Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive quality standards for all product categories, including FMCG, fashion, electronics, and lifestyle products.
  • Ensure the standards align with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Regularly review and update the quality standards to reflect product evolution, market changes, and emerging compliance requirements.
  • Inbound Product Inspection:
  • Monitor the quality of ongoing product lines in inventory, ensuring consistency in quality across all batches.
  • Analyze customer feedback and return data to identify trends in product quality and adjust inspection protocols or escalate issues through the Sourcing team.
  • Ongoing Product Quality Consistency:
  • Monitor the quality of ongoing product lines in inventory, ensuring consistency in quality across all batches.
  • Analyze customer feedback and return data to identify trends in product quality and adjust inspection protocols or escalate issues.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure all products meet relevant safety regulations and legal requirements before being sold on the platform.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new product categories and implement measures to mitigate potential quality issues.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution:
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to investigate and resolve quality-related customer complaints.
  • Use customer feedback to refine quality standards and improve supplier quality.
  • Other tasks/duties assigned by Head of Department/ Line Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in quality control. Experience in e-commerce, retail.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to develop and lead a QC team.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement quality standards for diverse product categories.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and collaborative attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing order and suppliers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
