The Central Engineering validation team (CSE) support the characterization of high-speed and optical transceivers for communication infrastructure in long-haul, metro, and data centers. We address the bandwidth, capacity, and power issues faced by cloud computing and mega data centers that power the social media giant platforms. Our innovative approaches have resulted in the company’s products being first to market in many key areas, developing the most advanced chips and subsystem solutions to address the ever-increasing demand for higher data rates driven by video-on-demand, gaming, and other real-time data streams. As a member of CSE team, the candidate will be responsible for supporting all the lab related activities needed to complete an effective and timely SerDes validation. The member will be able to work in a solid and motivated team and being exposed to the most advance communication technology on heart.

What You Can Expect

What You Can Expect

• Manage the day-to-day usage and operation of entire CSE labs in HCMC (involving electrical test equipment, inventory, calibration, chambers, ovens, etc.).
• Maintain an accurate inventory of lab equipment, ensuring regular calibration, maintenance, and timely replacements.
• Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of all CSE lab equipment, including signal generators, signal analyzers and related hardware.
• Manage the lab's daily activities supporting and preparing benches accordingly to input received from validation team.
• Support the team in execution of test accordingly to procedure received from validation engineer.
• Support the lab logistics with execution of purchase requisition, shipments and inspection of received material.
• Execute on some mechanical and electrical rework on HW and equipment, when needed, maintain contact with local mechanical fab shop.
  
  

What We're Looking For

What We're Looking For

• College (3yr university program or equivalent) on technical field.
• Any level of experience - 2 years of experience on the semiconductor test lab will be considered a plus
• Practical in hardware, office software and or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all lab activities.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies, industry trends, and organizational needs.

• Mechanical drawing capabilities and expertise.
• Previous experience in procuring equipment and materials, negotiating with vendors, and managing supplier relationships.
• Experience in designing and setting small PCB and mechanical HW design
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements related to ESD protection and lab safety (e.g., CE, ISO).
