The Business Development Officer has responsible to create close relationship with potential customers in Vietnam power market, as such EVN (VIETNAM ELECTRICITY), EVN’s subsidiary companies (EVN Genco-1, 2, 3), PVN (Petrovietnam), Petrovietnam’s subsidiary (Petrovietnam Power) and IPPs (Independent Power Producers). The target of his activity is ensuring thepotential of this market, receiving RFQ (Request for Quotation) from potential customers,obtaining new contract with potential customers through technical qualification / commercial qualification process, communication between customers and company in several projects on going and searching potential partners which may cooperate with company in the filed of O&M support service in Vietnam Power Market.
The responsibilities of Business Development Officer are to support General Manager of Carbon Solution Business Unit and Business Development as below;
[Creating close relationship with potential customers in Vietnam power market]
– Searching potential customers who have coal fired power station(s) in Vietnam
– Arrangement of meeting appointment (includes Web-meeting) with potential customers
– Making presentation to potential customers
– To find ways for making / keeping close relationship with potential customers
– To make weekly (or monthly) report which contains weekly activity (results of activity and plans for next week activity) to General Manager of Carbon Solution Business Unit and Business Development
– To search taxation, laws/regulation and necessary permit which are related with O&M business in Vietnam (respective provinces in Vietnam, if any)
– To search taxation, laws/regulation and necessary permit which are related with new clean energy (Ammonia, Biomass, etc.) in Vietnam (respective provinces in Vietnam, if any)
[Receiving RFQ (Request for Quotation) from potential customers]
– To arrange issuing RFQ from potential customers
– To submit commercial and technical proposal to potential customers
– To follow up status of proposal after its submission
– To search other competitor’s offers (commercial and technical)
– To search result of bidding (if any)
[Obtaining new contract with potential customers through technical qualification/commercial qualification process]
– To arrange qualification meeting (both commercial and technical) with potential customers
– To submit commercial and technical qualification sheet to potential customers
– To follow up status of qualifications
– To search other competitor’s offers (commercial and technical qualifications)
– To search result of qualifications (if any)
– To support contractual discussion at potential customer’s venue
– To support issuing performance security (Bond) and payment transaction with potential customers
[Searching potential partners which may cooperate with company in the filed of O&M support service in Vietnam Power Market.]
– Searching potential partners who can supply products or services in O&M services in Vietnam
– Arrangement of meeting appointment (includes Web-meeting) with potential partners
– Making presentation to potential partners
– To find ways for making / keeping close relationship with potential partners
– To make weekly (or monthly) report which contains weekly activity (results of activity and plans for next week activity) to General Manager of Carbon Solution Business Unit and Business Development
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
– A bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in commercial, accountant, global communication, engineering or equivalent.
– Minimum three (5) years of experience of business development work or worked in coal fired power project in Malaysia or Vietnam.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
– Timeliness of delivery of services and reports.
– Accuracy of reports and records.
– Excellent computer skills.
– Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
