Position's role:
- Drive continuous improvement of the overall Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning process by implementing best practices and achieve expected service level of delivery to markets with minimized inventory and the lowest cost
- Lead regional process improvement projects and maximize output from team members and leverage internal resources to supports the organizational focus
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic support to the regional SCM leader in making data-driven decisions.
- Manage and prioritize SCM projects, allocate resources effectively, and track progress.
- Develop and implement standardized SCM processes across the APAC region.
- Drive the Annual Operating Plan, ensuring target achievement and KPI alignment.
- Analyze regional business environments and implement best practices.
- Contribute to long-term SCM strategies and operational excellence.
- Design and maintain regional SCM policies, guidelines, and systems. - Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure alignment and standardization.
- Streamlining SCM processes like lead time management, EDI, and intercompany ATP.
- Collaborating with country leaders to optimize inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and improve S&OP KPIs.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Developing and maintaining inventory management policies and guidelines.
- Participating in regular planning meetings to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
- Aligning inventory planning with the annual operating plan and product life cycles.
- Implementing cross-functional strategies to optimize inventory across the region.
Job requirements
● Master’s degree of SCM major is preferred. Deep level of knowledges and 5-10 years experiences in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) with basic understanding of E2E SCM including manufacturing & purchasing, order management
● Experience of global/cross-country S&OP jobs
● User experience of ERP (SAP is preferred)
● With a strong conceptual understanding of Global Supply Chain & Inventory Management practices & techniques desired
● Proven leadership and team management skills with strong interpersonal communication ability with multi-national colleagues and adaptation
● Strong Project management skills and experiences (SCM area is preferred), scheduling, resource management, problem solving and collaboration.
● Open minded, take challenges & embrace changes with innovation and creativity
● Excellent communication and presentation skills
● Strong analytical skills. Advanced skills of reporting & analysis, good with numbers. Good at tools functionalities in spreadsheet and presentation slides.
● Logical thinking and ability to work under high pressure. Take actions in demanding environment
● Fluent in English in both written and oral
