Main Duties

Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain and update the company’s financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• 
  
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a monthly basis.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
• 
  
• Monitor and follow up on overdue payments.
• 
  
• Assist in the preparation of invoices, credit memos, and payment receipts.

Month-End & Year-End Close:

• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded and reports are prepared for review.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement).
• 
  
• Assist with the preparation of budget reports and forecasts.
• Provide reports on financial performance to management.

Tax & Compliance:

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns (PIT, VAT, corporate tax, etc.) in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Internal Controls:

• Support the implementation of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

General Accounting Support:

• Provide general accounting support to senior accountants and management.

• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Other Duties:

• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors (BOD) or management.
