My client, a top financial technology (fintech) company based in Japan is actively looking a Principal Backend Engineer (AI).

​Job Overview And Responsibility

• ­ Develop toB applications having a massive amount of data from scratch
• ­ Participate in whole development process including coding, testing, deployment, CI/CD
• ­ Design a complex architecture which includes API linkage to external systems
• ­ Quickly fix system failures or abnormalities by monitoring or notifications
• ­ Introduce tools, systems and cultures for efficient development
• ­ Develop fundamental skills of team members

Required Skills and Experience

• ­ From 7+ years with backend development, from 4+ years for Python language
• ­ Experience with Django or other Python web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
• ­ Hands-­on experience with Azure/AWS cloud
• ­ Operation of an application on a production environment
• ­ Experience with async job/ background job: Celery, .... message broker: SQS, Kafka
• ­ Experience with K8s, Docker/Container and micro services
• ­ Experience with mysql; unit test
• ­ Experience to lead a development team (required for Leader position)
• ­ Experience to improve application performance
• ­ Experience with agile development
• ­ Strong sense of ownership
• ­ Good English communication and documentation skills

Prefer if candidate have

• ­ Experience to develop BtoB applications
• ­ Experience with Terraform
