Job Purpose

• The Senior Analytical Development Scientist will report to Head of Analytical of the Development Center.
• Lead the analytical part of assigned projects, as main responsibility for project management and execution for the analytical part of a NPD project and BP ones at the Development Center, from develop testing methods, perform test method validation and testing activities
  
  

Key Accountabilities

• Analytical project management
• Be responsible for initial stage of project start, including quotation preparation with budget and timeline, determine key milestones and corresponding deliverable outcomes for the analytical part.
• Transversal cooperation with relevant stakeholders to set up the appropriate timeline, obtain proper resource allocation and mitigation plans for problems during the project lifecycle to ensure that most of projects will be delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Mainly responsible for analytical technical parts, including: test method specification, project risk analysis…, coordination with third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects, report and escalation to project team as needed.
• Technical expertise and comprehensive understanding in method development, validation and transfer from raw materials to finished-good for new project. Conduct plan and execute the stability study until end of expected shelf-life. Evaluation results trend and estimation for the product shelf-life.
• Prove his/her strive for result when participating in troubleshooting, investigation, and review data for lab batches and cosmetics product.
• Other laboratory activities
• Participate to the routine activities of the laboratories: manage analytical equipment, calibration/validation of analytical equipment, establish working standard, backup data, restore data, machine trouble shooting, purchasing order…
• Coach/train and give technical advice to new analysts or team for specific tests as needed.
  
  

Qualification

• Education:
  
  

Pharmacist, master is as a plus.

• Related experience
  
  

At least 5-years background in analytical technique, especially in the pharmaceutical industry.

Good understanding in project management and quality system. Join at least 2 projects as analyst or project lead

• Core Competencies
• Essential technical skills (refer to benchmark position):
• Expertise in analysis and develop analytical method Use of HPLC, UV spectrophotometer , dissolution tester, particle size analyzer and other lab equipment
• Good knowledge of GLP and safety in chemical laboratory, good sense of international quality guidelines (WHO-GMP, ICH guidance...) and local drug regulations Manage project’s resources, including timeline and budget.
• Essential behavioral competences (refer to benchmark position)
• Fast learner and reliable
• Be fluent in Microsoft Office.
