Quickpack Vietnam Co. Ltd. is an independent member of the Quickpack group, which is headquartered in Germany and is a specialist in the supply of a wide range of household and hygiene products. As a member of the Quickpack Group we are producing PE bags for household use in our factory in the near of Ben Luc, which we export to our parent company.

*About the role:
This position is responsible for developing and optimizing the manufacturing process for plastic film blowing, other extrusion processes and the conversion of semi-finished films into plastic bags.
This individual will provide engineering support to production by troubleshooting extrusion/conversion processes and tooling, and by defining extruder and accessory equipment maintenance requirements. The ideal candidate will have some experience with supervision or management.

*Responsibilities:
• Develop, troubleshoot and optimize extrusion, film blowing and conversion processes.
• Problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Implement improvements to cost, productivity, and downtime while reducing scrap.
• Train manufacturing personnel such as operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Define pre and post extrusion processes to optimize efficiencies, yields and productivity
• Use process capability studies and other statistical techniques for identifying and eliminating sources of process variability.
• Work closely with the quality team to provide responses to customer complaints and coordinate long-term corrective actions.
• Develops, writes, implements, submits and/or presents various technical reports and training materials and safety initiatives
• Work closely with corporate engineering on all new items for the plant, ensuring successful start to finish of trials.
