Job Description

As a Java developer, you will be responsible for modernizing legacy systems, implementing new features for our SCM projects, converting .NET systems to Java (with support from the .Net team), delivering new functionalities, and ensuring system stability through automation and maintenance.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for modernizing legacy systems, implementing new features for our SCM projects, converting .NET systems to Java (with support from the .Net team), delivering new functionalities, and ensuring system stability through automation and maintenance.

You will have an advantage if you have experience with systems such as:

• Warehouse Management System (WMS).


• Order Management System (OMS).


• Transportation Management System (TMS).


• Freight Management System (FMS).


• Customer Management System (CMS).

• System Modernization: Convert legacy systems from .NET to Java; upgrade existing features and create new functionalities using data-driven insights.


• Feature Development: Develop new features based on requirements from Singapore clients.


• Full Development Lifecycle: Participate in planning meetings, development phases, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.


• Automation & Maintenance: Automate maintenance tasks using development tools and ensure system stability.

• Java Development: Over 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Java-based solutions using Spring Boot to build Restful applications.


• Enterprise Project Experience: Hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, JSP, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, JQuery, React.js, Jenkins, MyBatis, and Git.


• Database Management: Proficient in databases such as MSSQL Server, MySQL, DB2, Oracle SQL, MongoDB, including query writing, stored procedures, functions, index management, and performance optimization.


• Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning, along with a solid understanding of deploying, maintaining, and monitoring complex Java Web applications.


• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills, understanding of design patterns and concepts.


• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, fix issues, and update OSS security patches.


• Experience with open-source solutions and applying new technology skills to existing systems.
