Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP, Head of Finance & Accounting to lead our financial strategy, oversee financial planning and analysis, and manage investment and M&A activities. This role is pivotal in supporting the Group CEO to strategize, monitor, and assist stakeholders in executing the company's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Business Partnering

• Support to develop and control the execution of the company's vision, mission, and annual business objectives (KGI).
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) integrated into a Balanced Scorecard system, ensuring departmental goals align with company objectives.

2. Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Operational Control

• Lead the Finance & Accounting department to perform comprehensive financial analysis and control & support the implementation of BSC KPIs.
• Enhance internal control systems by integrating financial and non-financial data for multi-dimensional analysis, providing insights to bridge gaps between actual results and forecasts.
• Initiate and lead regular operational meetings with division heads to monitor performance against plans and commitments & support to achieve BSC KPIs. 
• Establish reporting timelines and ensure the timely distribution of accurate financial reports.

3. Risk Management

• Engage with various departments to understand operational processes, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with back-office and operations teams to optimize company processes, enhancing support for sales and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities, to minimize business-related risks.

4. Cash Flow Management & M&A Activities

• Balance cash flow to meet current and future financial needs.
• Maintain and develop relationships with investors, supporting fundraising activities.
• Assist the Group CEO in strategizing YouNet's expansion through mergers and acquisitions to maximize business value.

5. Leadership and Other Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor the performance of finance & accounting staff based on established KPIs, recommending rewards, promotions, or training as necessary.
• Assist in designing and developing employee packages for key personnel.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Group CEO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience in preparing or leading consolidated financial reporting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Data-driven mindset with strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in the Marketing or Technology sectors is a plus.
• Background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is advantageous.
