Description
Supplier Program Manager
Location: Vietnam
WiFi is the new electricity. Outside the smartphone, it's the technology we depend on the most. The foundation for the modern home. The basement of Maslow's pyramid. It makes our favorite experiences -- Netflix, Spotify, FaceTime -- come to life. But at best, WiFi is like death by a thousand cuts: dead zones, painful setup, embarrassing passwords, equipment that’s a major eyesore. At worst, it’s complete failure -- usually right when you need WiFi most.eero is fixing all of that. It’s not easy, which is why we’ve built a world-class team and culture. We believe deeply in what we’re doing, and, more importantly, enjoy doing it together. Come join us.
The Role
The Supplier Program Manager at eero is responsible for driving new tooling development and plastic injection production from concept approval through ramp-up of eero devices. The role is responsible for driving mechanical suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams and supply chain to achieve the project goals. The position reports on KPIs for delivery and overall capacity for the custom mechanical commodity. This role is the focal point of contact in Vietnam for all Mechanical activities. The Supplier Program Manager needs close communication and teamwork with the worldwide teams such as OPM, MDE, Product Design, EPM, ID, etc., to ensure the projects are progressing according to schedule.
The Supplier Program Manager is responsible for closely monitoring and driving in-region activities including DFM, tooling release, process qualification, and material preparation for builds. Working closely with the Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE), Tooling Engineer (TE), Global Commodity Manager (GCM), Supplier Quality Manager (SQM), and Reliability Engineer (REL), the role is also responsible for driving suppliers to ensure the schedules are on track, issues are resolved, and quality requirements are met.
