I. Job Descriptions

I. Job Descriptions
- Strategic inbound planning
- Collaborate with warehouses to record container arrival times, allocate container destinations, control unloading times, and monitor restocking processes.
- Freight forwarding
- Work closely with forwarders to maintain smooth operations, update ocean freight quotations, US delivery charges, charge explanations, HS Code instructions, and logistics situations.
- Negotiate with forwarders to reduce total logistics fees.
- Logistics operation
- Monitor shipment pipelines and schedules, providing timely updates to relevant parties.
- Ensure the accurate calculation of taxes, duties, and fees.
- Work with the purchasing team to confirm booking completions, ensure on-time capacity confirmations, and collect documents for shipping and customs clearance
- Update delivery statuses and documentation on internal and external systems.
- Monitor bond compliance through regular tracking and reporting.
- Vendor management
- Work with brokers for daily operations, ensuring smooth logistics flow and maintaining on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
- Manage brokers’ performance, create and implement improvement plans, and prepare backup plans.
- Conduct broker training sessions to improve skills and strengthen partnerships
- Broker management
- Work closely with broker for daily operations to ensure smooth logistics flow (OTIF)
- Manage the overall and step-by-step performance of broker and work with them for improvement plan and as well as prepare the back-up plan
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 6+ years of experience in freight operations, with a focus on inbound and export logistics.
- Strong expertise in inland transport management and cost control.
- Strategic thinker with excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software, data analysis tools, and project management systems.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
