I. JOB PURPOSE
Prepares the Statutory Local GAAP as well as the IFRS Financial Statements of the company. His/her work is based on the accounting and management data received through the ERP System SAP and various reports available from SAP ECC and BI. Directly responsible for General Ledger, Assets and Depreciation, Intercompany. The role demands strategic insight into financial data and the ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions.
The position is based in Hanoi. He/she hierarchically reports to the Administration & Accounting Senior Manager Vietnam.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Reporting
• Prepare and oversee Month-End Financial Closings and Financial Reporting to be performed (SAP as transactional system and ORACLE FCCS as Consolidation).
• Prepare for the Local AFC the Monthly Reporting package (Local GAAP/IFRS) for the companies in scope as per Group deadlines
• Provide data timely and prepares accurate reports, analysis and reviews for internal/external stakeholders.
• Assist the Local AFC on the definition of Cash Flow Planning and Monthly Cash Flow (Direct, Indirect).
2. Accounting Management
• Dealing with Accounting Functions, manage General Ledger supporting the Local AFC in Treasury and Tax (Direct, Indirect and Deferred) as well as Project Management.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, Fixed Assets
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Assure accounting processes to be streamlined giving directions on all the Accounting resources.
• Develop and maintain the Company's Accounting Reporting Processes Policies and ensures both compliance with generally accepted reporting standards and timing respect.
3. Compliance and Audit:
• Deliver Statutory and IFRS Yearly Financial Statements without affecting quality of audit opinion and support the Tax Reporting (Yearly and Quarterly) as requested by Group or Local authorities.
• Participate to Internal Audits engagements and interact with External Auditors.
• Supervising of statutory reporting, tax reporting and compliance for profit, VAT and income tax to Vietnamese authorities in line with VAS, and regulations of MOF.
4. AI Implementation:
• Identify opportunities to utilize AI technologies in financial processes, such as automated bookkeeping, predictive analytics, and data analysis.
• Implement AI-driven solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and predictive capabilities in financial reporting and forecasting.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting
• Assist in the development and management of the company's budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Utilize AI analytics for financial forecasting and scenario modeling.
6. Financial Analysis
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reviews to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and AI-generated analytics.1. General Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Accountant qualification
• Chief Accountant Certificate holder
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role in multinational companies (experience in manufacturing companies is an advantage)
• At least 4 years in a Big 4 - Assurance or Transactions & Deal
• Proficiency in English (B2 or C1)
• Strong knowledge of VAS | IFRS and Financial requirements and good understanding of local tax regulations and compliance obligations
• Solid knowledge of SAP (modules FI, CO, AA, MM)
• Solid knowledge of Oracle FCCS Consolidation module or any Consolidation software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI technologies and their applications in accounting and finance
