Job Summary:
A Pattern Maker who translates design sketches, and technical specifications into functional patterns that ensure consistent garment size, fit, and quality.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop patterns: This involves creating precise templates for all garment pieces, considering factors like design specifications, fabric type, and fit.
2. Ensure pattern accuracy: Pattern makers meticulously check their creations for errors in measurements, proportions, and symmetry.
3. Pattern grading: Adjust the base pattern size proportionally to create patterns for different sizes (e.g., small, medium, large)
4. Collaborate with development and production teams: They work closely with the development team to understand their vision and translate it into technical specifications. They also communicate with production teams to ensure the patterns are compatible with manufacturing processes.

Graduate with a degree in Apparel Design and Technology
