Working Location

  • Initially work-from-home (preferably based in Hanoi, near Haiphong).
  • Occasional customer visits upon request (transportation costs, such as taxi fares, can be reimbursed with a receipt or based on actual costs).

Salary Range: 700–1,200 USD (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience). The salary can be discussed further during the interview and will be clarified in terms of net or gross salary, based on preferences and the final agreement.

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Regional Manager.


Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in electronic components and a proven sales track record. We seek a service-oriented, active, and positive individual who enjoys engaging with customers and is approachable. While we appreciate professional appearance, we value candidates who can effectively use technology to work efficiently. A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with both customers and suppliers to provide technical guidance, assist with product specification approvals, and offer cross-part referencing solutions. You will be integral in expanding our customer base, managing the full sales cycle, and driving business growth while ensuring exceptional service and long-term customer satisfaction.


Job Descriptions: 


Technical Sales Support:

  • Provide comprehensive technical information and guidance on electronic components and systems, ensuring compatibility with customer needs.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products based on technical requirements and budget considerations.
  • Recommend alternative products when necessary and offer cross-part referencing support to ensure compatibility


Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities by expanding the customer base and exploring new product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, formulating strategies to develop key accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize contract terms.


Customer Collaboration and Project Management:

  • Work closely with customers to understand their product specifications, applications, and solutions requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers to secure product specification approvals (spec-in process).
  • Manage sales projects from inquiry to delivery, including post-sales support.
  • Address non-conforming (NC) products and ensure corrective actions are implemented.


Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) to track performance and pipeline status.
  • Forecast customer needs and project timelines to drive proactive sales strategies.


Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and high-quality standards.
  • Work alongside sourcing teams to secure competitive pricing and ensure product availability.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate customer specifications into product offerings.
  • Provide actionable feedback to suppliers based on customer insights, helping to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of electronic components, including semiconductors, sensors, embedded systems, and circuit components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical details in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or electronic component distribution.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.


Required Experience:

  • 1–2 years in sales, specifically in electronic components.
  • Experience in a sales engineer role is preferred.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Additional sales or marketing certifications are a plus.


Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the latest trends in the electronics components market and emerging technologies.


Interview Process:

  • First Round: Conducted by HR or Sales Manager (online).
  • Second Round: Conducted by Regional Manager (online or face-to-face as appropriate).
