You will work as part of the construction delivery team, taking direction from the construction lead and project senior leadership team.
You will build relationships to manage and influence stakeholders, both internally and externally.
You will build a strong working relationship with your clients, and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.

You will be responsible for the structure and/or fit out of specific areas or packages, and ensuring they meet quality and safe working standards.

You will support other managers and junior members of your project team and provide an environment to share knowledge and experience.
You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilizing the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.
You will provide technical expertise and support to delivery teams, creating a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.

You’ll Need To Have

Knowledge of all construction methodology and processes, with particular focus on relevant structural/facade/fit out disciplines.
Knowledge of method statement processes, and relevant digital platforms.
Knowledge of Mace systems and internal standards, and where to find them.
Basic understanding of programmes, critical paths and commissioning strategy.
Basic understanding of Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing (MEP).
Managerial CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme).
SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme).
Recognized construction training/qualification.
Working towards member Chartered Institute of Building (or equivalent).

You’ll Also Have

Experience of managing an area/package from start to finish onsite.
Able to evidence previous roles and responsibilities and successful site management.
Knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing standards.
External, recognized accreditation (CIOB, etc.) Chartered Institute of Building.
Demands high standards, no short cuts in approach to meeting Mace/contract standards.
Good communication skills.
Keeps up to date with construction innovation and how new working practices could be introduced.
Seeking opportunities for implementing improved working practices.
Aware of wider BU, engine and overall corporate strategy, and understands their role within each.
Excellent time management.
