Get to know the Team

The Technical Infrastructure team is a group of product managers, software engineers, and program managers focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Grab's Technology and Data platforms, which are serving millions of users every day. These platforms include but are not limited to, the Experimentation Platform, Data Discovery and Catalog Layer, Metrics Engine, Customer Data Platform, and ML Platform. Our mission is to build and maintain a suite of internal tools and platforms that enable Grabbers to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.

Get to know the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Product Manager to join our Technical Infrastructure team, looking at the Experimentation Platform. You will work closely with engineering, data science, analytics, and product teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that have a significant impact on the company's bottom line & velocity to impact. High-quality & reliable data is a prerequisite for any ML/AI application, as well as for regular business operations. Getting there needs not just the right tools, but the right organizational processes & culture. Hence, to get results, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional leaders across the company to drive organization-wide changes.

The Day-to-day Activities

• Define and drive the product strategy for internal tools and data platforms that improve efficiency and collaboration across Grab.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that address these needs.
• Gather requirements, conduct user research, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team is focused on delivering high-impact projects.
• Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
• Drive the adoption and onboarding of internal tools and data platforms, working closely with users to ensure they are engaged and successful.
• Oversee product launches, product marketing, and other go-to-market activities for internal tools and data platforms.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that the team's work is well-understood and well-supported.
  
  

Qualifications

The must-haves:

• From 8 years of experience in product management, preferably at a tech company.
• At least 5 years of experience building and managing internal tools or data platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable engaging in high-level technical discussions and explaining technical topics to a non-technical audience.
• Passionate about technology trends, data tech, data science, ML/AI
• Passionate about driving impact through enhancing team productivity
  
  

The Nice To Haves

• Experience with Data Engineering, and GenAI, LLMs
• Familiarity with cloud applications and architecture.
• Bonus points: Programming experience, avid Grab user.
