Report to: Head of Legal Counsel Location: Hochiminh City Function: Legal Role: Individual Contributor Position Objectives: This position will be primarily in charge for many legal aspects of assigned areas, i.e licensing, purchasing, service agreements of Procurement, IT and External Lawyer Management, Corporate Matters, Legal Risk Reviews and Assessment and other Administrative Matters (the "Assigned Areas") by providing legal advisory services to the management, business, and relevant support functions to ensure business stakeholders in managing legal risks which are in line with the company's internal policies and procedures and local legislations in appropriate manners while business supports are adhered for a sustainable growth. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Legal advisory services on the Assigned Areas (75%) - Act as the primary senior legal counsel for the Assigned Areas; - Review, update and advise the management, Head of Legal, business and support functions local regulatory developments, market best practices/developments and internal policies and procedures on the Assigned Areas; - Provide legal advisory services to the management, business and support functions in responding legal related inquiries, projects implementations with in-depth analysis and commercial oriented solutions; - Review and amend contractual documents including participating negotiation process in supporting business (where required) to ensure the mitigation of legal risks while business objectives can be satisfactory by considering practical and commercial solutions; - Liaise and correspond with Group Legal and external counsels in dealing with related legal matters. 2. Dispute and litigation handling (5%) - Act as the company's representative for legal disputes and litigations regarding the Assigned Areas; - Engage in and provide solid legal advices to the management, business and support functions in dealing disputes and litigation; - Liaise with local courts and enforcement agencies, subject to the assignment by Head of Legal Counsel. 3. Training and development (10%) - Develop and deliver legal related training programs to business, support functions and Local Legal on the Assigned Areas; - Review and advise training programs and material being drafted by business or support functions for the Assigned Areas; - Implement ad-hoc training programs to business and support functions. 4. Other assignments by Head of Legal (10%) - Lead and drive legal projects and audit related matters; - Work on the review and develop legal related policies and guideline; - Other assignments by Head of Legal from time to time.Requirements: - Bachelor of Law - Qualified lawyer in Vietnam (preferred) - At least 3-5 years of in-house legal experience in insurance, banking, financial institutions, corporate or law firms - Competent in contractual documentation drafting and negotiations - Analytical and forward thinking - Solution-oriented advising - Fair degree of proficiency in English - Solid communication and presentation skills - Possess business acumen, be innovative but detail-oriented and self-driven - Ability to work independently for the assignments - Ability to deal with and handle multiple and changing priorities - Ability to work with multiple functions as a trusted partnerThưởng 13th payment Chăm sóc sức khoẻ Healthcare for you and your family
