ROYAL CANARY

The head housekeeper will be tasked with overseeing the daily management and smooth operation of the private estate to maintain impeccable levels of cleanliness and organization, manage other housekeeping staff members, and ensure that all household cleaning operations are performed to the standards set by the Estate Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning activities to ensure that all areas of the residence are spotless and orderly.

• Manage and schedule the housekeeping staff, organizing their tasks and shifts to optimize efficiency and coverage.

• Maintain inventory of all household supplies,

• Notify the estate manager when orders for replacements and new items as needed to keep essentials in stock.

• Enforce household cleaning standards and protocols, as set by the Estate Manager, developing routines that uphold the home’s cleanliness and organization.

• Handle any immediate housekeeping issues, resolving conflicts and making decisions to keep operations running smoothly.

• Report regularly to the Estate Manager, providing updates on the household’s status and any concerns that need addressing.

• Train new housekeeping staff, ensuring they understand their roles and the standards they are expected to meet.

• Supervise deep cleaning projects and seasonal maintenance tasks, planning these periods to minimize disruption to the household.

Have a clean criminal record and pass a security screening.

Have at least 5 years of experience as a housekeeper, 3 of which shall be in 4 or 5 Star hotels or private estates, and 2 of which shall be in a supervisory role.
