Responsibilities

• Backend Development
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs for various business features.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and ensure high performance, availability, and scalability.
• Utilize Docker/Docker Compose (or equivalent containerization tools) for environment setup and deployment.
• Architecture & Security
• Apply knowledge of microservices architecture to improve system scalability and modularity.
• Ensure backend systems are developed with security best practices, including cryptography principles.
• Utilize Websockets and Redis where necessary for real-time functionality and caching.
• Quality Assurance
• Write effective unit tests to ensure code reliability and prevent regressions.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation for your code and system design.
• Actively participate in code reviews and promote best coding practices within the team.
• Collaboration
• Collaborate with UX, QA, and Business Analysts to gather requirements and ensure successful feature implementation.
• Present implementation plans clearly to tech leads and stakeholders for alignment and approval.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and Django framework.
• Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Docker Compose.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with microservices, Websockets, Redis, and cryptographic security principles.
• Strong focus on testing, code quality, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with PDF, CSV, and Excel data extraction/generation.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks such as ReactJS is a plus.
