Role Overview

We are looking for a Head of Finance Control to build and operate a strong financial control and performance finance backbone for Techvify.

This is not a traditional finance control role.

This role exists to help the company:

• Control margin and unit economics
• Strengthen cashflow and risk discipline
• Build the financial foundation for ESOP and long-term ownership
• Move Finance to a performance and decision-support role, not just reporting

You will report directly to the CEO & BOD and work closely with the Accounting team and business leaders.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & Reporting

• Design and operate a robust monthly close, reconciliation, and sign-off process
• Deliver consistent and reliable management reporting (P&L, cash, key metrics)

Delivery PnL & Cost Governance

• Build and manage P&L by Delivery Unit / Project
• Define and enforce cost allocation, overhead rules, and cross-unit principles
• Govern unbillable / quality investment with clear rules and visibility

Cashflow & Working Capital

• Establish rolling cash forecasts
• Monitor AR aging and support collection escalation
• Provide early warning on cash and liquidity risks

ESOP Finance Operations (2026 focus)

• Build and maintain ESOP economics models and guardrails
• Operate the ESOP ledger (grant, vesting, leaver handling)
• Provide ESOP health reporting to CEO and Board

Performance & Decision Support

• Produce a regular CEO & BOD pack (margin, cash, risks, exceptions)
• Support monthly unit performance reviews
• Develop driver-based forecasts and scenarios (FP&A lite)

Systems & Data

• Standardize data flow across our internal THRM, accounting, project, and invoicing systems
• Drive “right-sized” automation with strong traceability and scalability

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

• Management numbers are timely, stable, and trusted
• Unit/project P&L reflects true business economics
• Clear cash visibility and AR discipline
• ESOP finance backbone operates cleanly with audit trail
• Finance becomes a decision partner to the CEO, not just a reporting function

Candidate ProfileMust-have

• 7–10 years of experience in Finance Control, FP&A, or Management Reporting
• Strong preference for experience in IT services, outsourcing, or project-based businesses
• Solid capability in financial control, cashflow, cost structures, and data reconciliation
• Strong ownership mindset and end-to-end accountability

Nice-to-have

• Big4 background (Audit / Advisory)
• Experience in scale-up or multi-entity environments
• Exposure to ESOP, long-term incentives, or investor readiness

Personality Fit

• Clear, logical, and fact-based
• Execution-driven, not “theoretical”
• Comfortable working closely with a hands-on founder-CEO

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a pure accounting or compliance role
• Not an ERP implementation lead
• Not a “strategy-only” role with limited execution
