What You’ll Do
- Work as a Software QA Engineer responsible for delivering quality outcomes across both manual and automation testing.
- Partner closely with the Melbourne-based development team within an Agile environment to ensure end-to-end quality across feature delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected system behaviour.
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Execute manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Report bugs, inconsistencies in UI/UX, and conflicting edge cases in various business requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance automated test scripts to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency.
- 2–5 years of experience in web application testing.
- Good English communication skills to work with the Melbourne team and demonstrate a proactive working approach.
- Strong experience in functional and non-functional testing and standard testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, Playwright, or Reqnroll, as well as database testing using SQL.
- Familiar with tools such as Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and issue management.
- Basic knowledge of web security testing, with the ability to clarify and validate requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong logical and analytical thinking.
- Ho Chi Minh City (Ree Tower, Xom Chieu Ward): Vietnam business hours (8 am – 5 pm) with a hybrid setup (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
