Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Internal Controls:

Establish and maintain internal control policies to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.

Conduct audits to verify financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Tax Compliance:

Oversee preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

Work with external auditors to prepare for audits and ensure proper tax filings.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Mentor junior accountants and assist in training new staff.

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, operations) to ensure smooth financial operations.

Financial Analysis:

Provide management with insights into the company’s financial performance and suggest ways to improve profitability and efficiency.

Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost savings.
