Job Description

• Review and understand business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Develop and maintain UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute UAT test scripts manually or via test tools.
• Log defects clearly with reproduction steps and follow up with development teams.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Users to validate solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule testing cycles and obtain sign-off.
• Support business users during testing by explaining flows or system behavior.
• Provide feedback for usability, business flow gaps, or unexpected behavior.
• Participate in Go/No-Go decisions based on testing results.
  
  

Required Skills & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Understanding of SDLC, especially Agile or Waterfall models.
• Experience in UAT or manual testing for enterprise applications is a plus.
• Attention to detail, logical thinking.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Able to write clear test cases and defect reports.
• Familiarity with Excel, Jira, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of business process flows (e.g., sales, order management, inventory) is a plus.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in FMCG, Retail, Banking, or ERP/CRM systems.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams or offshore development teams.
• Understanding of SQL or ability to do simple data validation is a plus.
