ROLES:
As a Retail Manager of the leading luxury group brands, you will be accountable for the effective management of daily operations across all luxury fashion retail establishments. Your responsibilities include driving sales, optimizing profitability, maximizing retail output, leading retail operations teams to deliver excellent luxury customer experiences and overseeing the enhancement of the group brand images.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Drive sustainable Sales growth for assigned fashion retail locations
- Monitor and report sales figures, customer metrics on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Take full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the assigned stores.
- Role-model and champion excellent luxury customer service culture across stores, making proposals to enhance the retention of existing customers and develop potential new customer bases.
- Collaborate with departments such as Product Merchandizing, Brand Marketing and Clientele Developments to devise sales strategy and plans, propose, and implement action plans to improve sales and profitability across luxury store locations.
2. Manage effective Merchandise & Inventory Management in the stores
- Inspect and monitor to ensure that stores conduct monthly inventory checks according to company regulations.
- Optimize product displays to meet brand visual merchandizing standards and enhance product presentation.
- Manage and control all aspects of inventory management, ensuring compliance with procedures and guidelines to achieve target stock levels and minimize losses.
- Ensure proper storage and rational arrangement of goods in the BOH (Back of House) in partnership with Operations Manager
- Participate in planning merchandise purchases based on deep understanding about customer demands and trends.
3. Lead Excellent Store Operations
- Collaborate with Operations Manager to execute excellent Store operational standards.
- Conduct frequent evaluations and coaching sessions to ensure staff conducts, service behaviors and store images align with company and brand regulations.
- Ensure stores adhere to BOH procedures and rules according to brand standards and company regulations.
- Ensure Store Managers/ Retail Managers implement and execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists.
- Ensure excellent Visual Merchandizing execution on the floor following both DAFC and brand standards.
- Lead after sales services to meet luxury services standards.
- Collaborate with the management of the shopping center for key activities implementation on the floor.
- Monitor and supervise store compliance with regulations related to hygiene and occupational safety. Check the necessary supplies (tea, snacks, sweets, etc.) to serve VIC customers.
4. Lead and Develop Sales and VM team
- Develop highly engaged, customer-centric and result-oriented sales team.
- Recruit, train and develop a strong and sustainable talent pools.
- Set performance objective, KPIs and career development plans for sales team.
- Build best practice sharing culture, promote and recognize key talents in the team.
- Propose sales commission and incentive schemes to motivate store teams to achieve the budget.
- Develop training programs including service behaviors, selling skills and soft skills in partnership with Learning and Development team to elevate excellent customers engagement on the floor
- Provide product knowledge training in partnership with Brand principals.
- Provide management skills training for the store management team.
5. Other Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Inventory Management and Store Compliance teams to conduct proper store audits following company regulations.
- Proactively monitor and survey retail market trends, competitions to provide prompt commercial and sales plan.
- Participate in new project development where appropriate like introducing new brands, building new stores or renovate existing stores.
- Actively contribute new ideas, initinitatives and closely collaborate with and support Corporate and Brand Marketing departments to implement Marketing activities to drive sales and customer services (new customer expansion, existing customer retention, silent customers waking up)

Education
- Holds a degree from University or higher in a relevant field
Knowledge
- Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the retail sector especially in fashion and shopping centers.
Experience
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on Retail Management. Prioritizes experiences in industries such as Fashion, Cosmetics, and Jewelry.
Skills and Capabilities
- Demonstrates strong managerial skills, adept at coordinating, organizing work systematically, and ensuring efficiency.
- Exhibits strong leadership skills in driving business, customer development, problem-solving and negotiation with relevant business stakeholders.
- Obsessed with excellent customer experiences on the floor.
- Highly attentive to details to meet luxury standards of service and customer engagement.
- Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses excellent English communication skills.
- Passion for training and developing staffs at various levels.
- Be creative in new ideas and initiatives to drive excellent luxury services on the floor.
- Be willing to work in shifts – Weekdays and Weekends
