MAXIMISES HOTEL REVENUE FOR GROUPS
• Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment
• Assists in the development of annual sales goals
• Assists in the completion of monthly booking report
• Ensures own function operates within cost restraints
• Maintains effective correspondence
• Meets budgeted sales and profit margins for group business, by soliciting, selling, and confirming business as required
• Develops data and recommends programs to meet clients’ needs
• Prepares proposals with the Director of Sales that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying guest needs
• Solicits files on a timely basis to confirm business
• Uses outside sales calls to solicit existing and new guests
• Conducts on-site client inspections and entertainment weekly
• Contacts in-house guests to foster additional business, repeat bookings, or referrals to other RHG hotels
• Coordinates activities related to booked business with other departments
• Communicates guests’ requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner
• Insures maximum occupancy on a daily basis by performing follow-ups on progress of FIT and allotments booked with Front Office
• Increases sales volume and profitability by assisting in developing and executing projects for assigned market areas as stated in the hotel marketing plan
• Develops plans, special sales activities, and promotions
• Conducts market analysis to determine guest needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, etc.
• Attends RHG/hotel sales blitz, and/or trade shows in key market cities to develop new business and to contact established clients in these cities
• Communicates requests for special accommodations and suites
• Prepares accurate forecasts as requested
• Pre-blocks all special requests or VIP accommodations accurately
• Keeps Sales Department informed of allotment booking status
• Communicates with Front Office Manager all VIP’s for appropriate treatment
• Ensures all reservations are tracked correctly for statistical purposes
• Follows up on commissions and other fees paid to travel agencies etc.
• Liaises with the Accounts Payable Department regarding credit issues
MAXIMISING HOTEL REVENUE IN MEETING AND EVENTS
• Leading, motivating and coaching the M&E Sales Team to ensure 100% Guest Satisfaction.
• Efficient forecasting, planning and rostering of the department to ensure cover at all times, whilst adhering to payroll budgets.
• Ensuring all Sales opportunities and future leads are followed through to fulfil budgeted targets.
• Actively promoting and selling the facilities through client Site Inspections and familiarisation events.
• Preparing Offers & Contracts in line with the Hotel's M&E standards.
• Communicating and planning with the Food & Beverage Operations Teams to ensure high quality standards are maintained.
• Being a point of contact and welcoming the guests to the hotel during their function.
• Utilising guest feedback developing services and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maximising hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by ensuring accurate and effective processing of conference bookings, private functions and weddings.
• Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities.
• Makes at least 13 sales calls per week, included in the number is site inspections, follow ups.
• Assists in the development of annual sales goals.

• Having degrees and certificates related to the profession
• Having at least 02 years working experience as the same position in 4 – 5 stars hotel/ resort
• Being fluent in English; being able to using other language
• Being proficient in office informatics, hotel management software
• Mastering in hospitality activities
• Having good situation solving skills
• Being able to work independently under high pressure
• Having good commercial and business sense
• Arranging work and coordinating with colleagues well
