For Damen to achieve our strategic goals, it is key that we can Attract Talent and Identify, Retain and Develop Talent throughout the entire Damen organization. We have decided to partner up with Workday to help us to efficiently manage all processes around our greatest asset, our people.

We are live on Workday with the entire Damen population and are now focusing on steadily introducing new improvements to enhance efficiency and improve the Workday experience for our customers.

To support our business, we have a dedicated international Workday Continuous Improvement team within Damen (2 team members in the Netherlands, 1 in Romania, 1 Vietnam, 1 Türkiye) and are looking to extend our team with an HRIS Analyst (Templates) in Vietnam.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Within Damen we use document templates in Workday within our HR processes, e.g. to generate employment contracts or compensation change letters. Currently this has only been rolled out for a limited set of countries, and we want to roll this out for the rest of the organization.

For this purpose, we are looking for a Workday analyst who will specialize in document templates.

As the HRIS Analyst (Workday templates) you will be responsible for organizing workshops in which you gather business requirements from our customers related to document templates. Once the requirements are clear you configure those template requirements in Workday (Test), test them, also perform regression tests (check if changes in configuration does not impact the templates used by other entities), create end user training material, facilitate end user testing, and bring the changes to production.

• User Support and Training:
  
  

Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, issues, and support requests from end-users.

Offer guidance and training to employees, managers, and HR staff on how to effectively use Workday features and functionalities.

Document and maintain knowledge base articles and user guides to facilitate self-service resources for HRIS users.

• HRIS System Enhancement:
  
  

Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new modules or features related to templates in Workday.

Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions to optimize HRIS functionality and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to translate business requirements into system configurations and enhancements.

• Reporting and Analytics:
  
  

Develop and customize reports and dashboards within Workday to support HR and business leaders' data-driven decision-making.

Extract and analyze data from Workday to provide meaningful insights and recommendations for process improvements and business strategies.

Create scheduled and ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of accurate HR metrics and analytics.

• Data Management:
  
  

Conduct data quality assessments to identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies within the HRIS system.

Implement data governance practices to maintain data standards and adhere to data privacy regulations.

Collaborate with HR and IT teams to manage data migration and ensure smooth data integration during system upgrades or changes.

Professional Experience

• Master level in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience as IT support analyst in a Workday HCM or as Workday Key User at a customer
• Strong knowledge and experience in data analysis, manipulation, reporting and formatting
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Fluent in English
