About Us

Damen Song Cam Shipyard is a production facility delivering various Damen ship types. Basic designs and main components are delivered to DSCS by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem. DSCS will provide the detailed engineering, and information for the supply chain and production.

The Projects department consists of four departments: Planning&Proposal, Project Management, Quality Control and Facility&Maintenance. The Projects department is primarily responsible for all support activities securing the timely delivery of information and facilities for an undisturbed and efficient production of high quality vessels.

Facility&Maintenance Department Is One Of Four Departments In Projects Department Of Damen Song Cam Shipyard And Is Under Supervision Of Manager Projects. Facility And Maintenance Department Consists Of Following Sub-departments

Facility&Maintenance department of Damen-Song Cam Shipyard Co.,Ltd is responsible to manage, control and maintain the equipment, faility to make sure they are fully inspected; operate the system of power, water supply. Besides, the Facility and Maintenance has missions to make personnel and materials in the yard secure in every 24 hours.

The purpose and scope of job

Purposes

• To have good preparations and works in professional style for all investments from the intake stage until closing stage especially construction or infrastructure investment.
• To keep the construction investments under good supervision during realization stage.
• To control WO from planning until closing.
• To control and keep as-built drawings updated with changes.
• To propose good solutions to have best results of jobs.
  
  

Scope Of The Job

• The preparation documents are only for Damen-Song Cam Shipyard Co.,Ltd (DSCS).
• Any supervision activities are called internal jobs of the owner (DSCS), not for external service.
• WO control activities are made from stage of planning, WO execution, closing and evaluation.
• The drawings are built or controlled to support investment decisions, permitting, contract proposal
  
  

Key Accountabilities

• Design:
• Make designs basing on different ideas.
• Build Bill of quantities.
• Propose cost overviews.
• Permitting:
• Prepare and submit permit documents on construction and infrastructure.
• Follow permit certificate submissions with local authorities.
• Consult best solutions to get legal permissions.
• Supervision:
• Supervise all construction items that relate to the company.
• Sign acceptance minutes of on-going construction items.
• Drawing control/update:
• Save all drawings in versions with legal Autocad.
• Update latest changes on drawings that impact the actual items.
• Work Order control:
• Update planned preventive maintenance actions in route work orders.
• Insert materials in route work orders.
• Make route work orders ready 1 quarter in advance.
• Print, update progress, change status, evaluate route work orders.
• Update Maintenance KPI, reports
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Education:
• B.A. diploma on Construction
• English language and computer skills
• Experience:
• 1-3 years related work experience
