PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

Material Coordination is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials from suppliers to DSCS warehouse according to planning (on time/ best price/ good quality).
- Validate BOM of template and each projects
- Create PR’s for buyer supply materials and actively manage it
- Create PO’s for buyer supply material and actively manage it
- Expedite( trace material arrival in the yard).
- Report material status in the project team.
- Find alternative solutions in case materials are late or missing in DSCS warehouse.
- Handling Nonconformity report (NCR).
- Make a inventory list

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACTIVITIES

1. Validate the BOM for every Template
- Check BOM from Work preparation and validate the BOM to have demand correct.
- Make clarify materials/ SET-Materials which supplied by DAMEN/ DSCS/ Hull yard as mentioned in Demarcation.

2. Create PR’s for buyer supply materials and actively manage it
- Check and reuse leftover material in stock before creating PO
- Check and release PR lines of Buyer Supply materials
- Feedback work preparation in case PR’s double & wrong activities & latest order date’s overdue.

3. Create PO’s for buyer supply material and actively manage it
- Check and reuse leftover material in stock before creating PO
- Process the demand and create PO

4. Trace material
- Checking the status of materials from supplier to DSCS (PR, PO, shipment, ETA)
- Arrival note from DSCS customer.

5. Report material status
- Make the material status overview report biweekly (including PO, shipment, ETA). Reschedule material planning in case it should be soon or late/missing.
- Feedback DSGo

6. Find alternative solutions in case materials are late or missing in DSCS warehouse
- Feedback to supplier, DSGo
- Borrow material from other project or send material via Airfreight or buy local

7. Handling NCR
- Checking NCR and coordinate with other department ( QC, supply chain, Commissioning ,DSGO materials coordination)

8. Inventory list
- Check and make a inventory list
