o Reporting, Budgeting
- Show initiatives at tactical level and develop ideas effectively against established business strategies
- Manage systems and people to monitor risk. Ensure that appropriate controls and processes are in place to have accurate reporting
- Provide BOD with timely and effective management accounts and reports.
- Monthly, quarterly and annually reporting to BOD with appropriate commentaries.
- Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization
- Full reconciliations of Management books and Statutory books
- Coordinate and prepare the budget and financial forecasts, institute and maintain other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyze and report variances
o Statutory, Tax & Accounting
- Financial statements and annual returns.
- Tax and fiscal returns, staying abreast of all regulatory developments.
- Responsible for tax planning and compliance with all government and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes
- Ensure accounting books and records are accurate and in compliance with regulations of Vietnamese accounting and financial reporting laws.
- Full reconciliations of all G/L & sub ledger balances.
o Internal control
- Ensure all transactions are authorized in line with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Ensure internal controls are maintained in line with the financial and accounting guidelines and standards.
- Ensure all financial accounting transactions and financial statements complied with VAS
- Control over all company assets.
o Treasury
- Be responsible for risk management to accounts, interest rates, exchange rates
- Manage cash flow effectively
- Cash forecasts.
- Bank reconciliations
o Other tasks as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Auditing.
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA, CPA) is preferred.
- Proven working experience in Accounting Manager level at least 2 years.
- Deep knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Self-driven and independent, and being experienced in leading a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong change management and adaptability.
- Good English communication skills (both spoken and written).
