I. Purpose of Job

• Ensure the Company’s full compliance with Vietnamese tax and legal regulations.

• Ensure accurate tax calculation, reporting, filing, and payment in accordance with current laws.

• Identify tax risks and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure and optimize compliance.

• Maintain professional working relationships with management, principals, and tax authorities.

II. Principal Accountabilities:

A. Tax Review & Implementation

• Review tax returns (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT) to identify risks of under/over declaration.

• Review deductible and non-deductible expenses and input/output VAT treatment.

• Identify inconsistencies between accounting records, tax returns, and inventory.

• Develop, review, and improve tax procedures related to expenses, revenue, and VAT compliance.

B. Tax Assistance & Payments

• Review contracts, especially those involving foreign contractors, to ensure proper tax treatment.

• Review and finalize monthly/quarterly/annual tax returns prepared by Accounting.

• Check tax calculations and recommend necessary adjustments.

• Advise Accounting on tax payable amounts and payment timelines.

• Work with tax authorities during inspections, audits, and tax queries.

C. Tax Advisory & Planning

• Advise Management on tax implications for current operations and new investments.

• Perform tax health checks to assess and reduce tax risks.

• Review contracts, policies, and business models to optimize tax efficiency.

• Liaise with external consultants and authorities when required.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Auditing.

• A tax certification or Law degree is an advantage.

2. Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax-related roles.

3. Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT).

• Understanding of Contract Law and business operations.

• Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (written and spoken).
