* JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and define sanding and polishing processes for carbon fiber/ composite parts.
• Select appropriate abrasives, polishing compounds, pads, and tools based on finish requirements.
• Establish and maintain standard process parameters (speed, pressure, grit sequence, time, etc.).
• Create and update Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control Plans.
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and capability studies (Cp, Cpk) for process optimization.
• Troubleshoot process issues such as uneven surface finish, sanding marks, pin hole treatment, over-polishing, or excessive material removal.
• Monitor and control key process parameters to maintain surface quality.
• Support operators and technicians in setup and adjustment of sanding/polishing equipment (manual, semi-auto, or robotic).
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of machines, jigs, and tools used in the process.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams during pilot builds and trials.
• Validate new materials, tools, and finishing methods to meet design surface requirements (Roughness, glossiness, flatness).
• Define surface quality inspection methods and acceptance criteria.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related major 
• Hands-on experience in using 2D/3D software.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with polishing tools, sanding machines, or finishing robots.
• Understanding of surface roughness (Ra, Rz) and gloss measurement.
• Working knowledge of APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and PPAP is desired.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
