The Costing Accountant will be responsible for calculating, auditing, and managing initial costing to ensure accurate and timely selling prices for all Wanek/MIL products. The role involves working closely with internal teams to ensure cost efficiency, developing tools and processes for cost management, and analyzing cost fluctuations. The Costing Specialist will also provide training, maintain cost databases, and support various projects.
- OEM costing: Work closely with IE to make sure the manufacturing cost/FOB for this new business.
- Market costing: Control timeline and Costing output to supply timely for markets 4 times a year.
- Build Costing process, apply for between internal departments at Wanek/MIL.
- Identify gaps between Wanek’s and US on approval process for PIS.
- Develop tools to minimize missing information on BOM/Routing to contribute COGS for both Wanek/Mil.
- Analyze and go deeper into detail of COGS to find out the reason for the fluctuation on %Margin each month end closing.
- Develop and prepare educational/training in internal Costing team, make sure the ob-normal data can be easily recognized and fix before submitting to US.
- Corporate with all team members to follow up the Production schedules, to make sure prices are available for shipment.
- Maintain database to control the increasing prices of materials, level of impact on Manufacturing cost, set up target to limit this factor on cost of products.
- Take part in projects of Industrial Engineering department to follow Manager’s assignment to consult on Finance’s view.
Yêu cầu công việc
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting
- Engineering and Production knowledge & financial insight.
2. Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience working as Costing accountant.
- Deep knowledge and successful implementation of instructional on design product Costing.
- Familiar with system’s process.SKILLS
3. Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with web delivery tools.
- Good English communication (written and verbal).
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work.
