Position Overview

This specific position will work mainly under TECOTEC Technology. As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and designing integrated test and measurement systems. You will develop technical documentation, build system architecture diagrams, and support cross-functional teams in the implementation of tailored solutions using advanced measurement devices and automation components.

Solution Development

• Analyze customer use cases and propose technical solutions using TECOTEC’s measurement products and platforms.
• Research and identify equivalent or compatible systems/devices that align with technical and design specifications.
• Design and deliver detailed solution proposals, including technical, architect and cost considerations.

Technical Documentation

• Assist Lead Designer to write documentation for internal team and customer use, including:
• System Design Document ie. Block Diagrams, Sequence / Timing Diagrams … 
• User Manual / Instruction Guide
• Quick Start Guide
• Solution proposal
• Work closely with R&D, product, and software teams to ensure consistency in design and integration documents.

Technical Review & Testing

• Read and interpret technical specifications for measuring instruments and related equipment.
• Support the creation and execution of test cases for both hardware and software components.
• Assist in troubleshooting system-level problems and propose technical solutions.
  

Background & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering documentation.
• Solid understanding of system control architectures, integration patterns, and signal interfacing.
• Proficient in English (especially for technical reading and writing), at least IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role such as Application Engineer, Solution Designer, or System Integrator.
• Familiar with building documentation and diagrams for hardware/software systems.
• Hands-on experience with real-world measurement systems is a strong advantage.
